Ticks

Took the dogs for less than a mile hike today and came back to find THIRTY-FOUR, no exaggeration, ticks crawling on them. Luckily, both dogs are vaccinated for Lyme disease and are treated with monthly oral medication to kill the ticks, but in order to kill the ticks, the ticks need to latch on to the dogs first. I guess I should just get used to having creepy crawlies in my house and check myself daily. Blech. Farm life= bug heaven.
