Poison Ivy Paradise

Apparently there must have been poison ivy in the area where we put the garden. I have seeping blisters on my neck, arms, chest and legs and my face is so swollen that I’ve lost some of my fields of vision.

Lesson learned: despite the inability for a novice gardener to identify plants by their roots (unless they’re tubers), the oil from plants can live along remaining roots after the leaves and flowers have been mowed down.
